Welcome to Greenhouse 1889, where faith, family, and flowers come together. I’m Sally Spurlock, and I’ve loved flowers for as long as I can remember. Over the years, I have found much joy in creating arrangements for our church- celebrating every season and special events with flowers. Now, I’m blessed to share that same love with our four daughters- Katey, Jewel, Dolly, and Jo Claire Growing up on the family farm, they’ve learned the value of hard work, creativity, and the simple joy of seeing something beautiful grow. About Greenhouse 1889
In 1889, the city of Aurora, Missouri issued its first ever business license to Otto Werdien and his wife to start the Aurora Greenhouses. Each day Otto would load fresh produce and flower arrangements made by his wife to his wagon to sell. The greenhouses remained in the family till 2005. Since then, the Werdien’s tradition of focusing on customer relationships and quality product continues. Greenhouse 1889, continues to be a place where tradition and beauty meet.Where we deliver
